The French National Reference Center for Viral Hepatitis B, C, and delta (NRC) is open during normal business hours on working days. However, samples can be accepted 7 days a week, 24 hours a day (24/7) at the welcome desk of the Laboratory of Virology at the Henri Mondor Hospital.
Exam requests should be accompanied by an information sheet duly completed and sent to the following address:

The NRC accepts the following types of samples: decanted and frozen serum, decanted and frozen plasma, frozen RNA or DNA extracts, and room temperature DBS. For all other types of samples, please contact the NRC.
The NRC has several techniques for the diagnosis and identification of viruses, as well as typing, to assess sensitivity or resistance to antivirals.
